Is Darts a Sport or just a game of skill?
The NDFC is pursuing Sport Canada recognition and funding for the sport of darts
Although many provinces have recognized darts as a sport, Sport Canada has unjustly and inaccurately predetermined that darts is a “game of skill” and has combined it together in the same category as Chess, Bridge, Scrabble and electronic games

As a result, this disqualifies the sport of darts from ever being fairly evaluated and recognized for funding at the federal level

The NDFC is calling on all Dart Players in Canada, member or non-member, to sign our petition to get the attention of the Federal Government to rectify this prejudice.

How can you help?

Step 1 - Read these statements from the NDFC:
The national coaching program established by the National Darts Federation of Canada has already accredited 39 Coaches from across Canada.

It is the opinion of the National Body and its Provincial/Territorial Governing Member Bodies that the sport of darts meets every parameter as defined under Sport Canada’s Sport Definition Parameters.
